So many times I came to visit, I bounced right through your door,

Then in later years it seemed, I was slower than before...

But I'd perk right up when the car would stop, And jump across the seat,

I could hardly wait to come inside, I might just get a treat...

Up the steps, onto the scales, I had to stand real still,

Then to my room so Dr. Schacht could ask me how I feel...

He always let me walk around, and watch how I would act,

I tried to be a real good boy, To please my Dr. Schacht...

And then the part I liked the best, If I had been real sweet,

He'd walk right over to that jar, I knew I earned my treat...

Many say we have no soul, not understand a thing

But I can tell you they are wrong, Today I earned my Wings...

To all you who loved and cared, And helped when I was sick,

I wish that I could be right there, to give a great big lick...

So every one of you who made my time spent there so great,

I thank you with a loving heart and...

At the Rainbow Bridge I wait...
